After doing more research and visiting their headquarters in Boston, Curren was sold on the idea.

In New Mexico they鈥檝e found a different way. There is proof that sanctuary policies are working, keeping residents safer than in places that collaborate with ICE tactics. If she could ask for one non-material gift it would be a break from racism. She talks about the racism she’s faced, her hope for the future, and why adults need to uplift young voices.
